A practical and leadership-oriented course based on Applied Artificial Intelligence: A Handbook for Business Leaders. Students learn how companies adopt AI, how to choose the right applications, how to build or acquire AI capabilities, how to work with multidisciplinary teams, and how to drive innovation responsibly, without focusing on low-level coding.

Sessions

  • Sessions 1-3: AI Fundamentals for Business — introduction to applied AI, core terminology and modern AI techniques, the machine intelligence continuum
  • Sessions 4-6: Society, Risk, and Ethics — AI’s promises in society and industry, challenges and risks, safe and ethical AI design
  • Sessions 7-9: Building AI Organizations — building an AI-ready organization, investing in AI talent and team structure, AI strategy and implementation planning
  • Sessions 10-11: Data and Product Lifecycle — data readiness and ML workflows, experimentation, iteration, and the AI product lifecycle
  • Sessions 12-13: Enterprise Applications and Capstone — AI use cases across enterprise functions, future trends and capstone preparation
